SON OF GOD; ULTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD

Every sane human has powdered the subject of what is the truth in this world. I feel that I can safely assume that caveman stared into the heavens and wondered the same. Science states that it’s wasn’t the look into infinite space and it’s configurations, but it was when cavemen began to have affection for each other to the extend that they began powdering  life after death. The God concept came from the latter rather than the formal. In comparison, caveman’s newly developing love beyond themself was the beginning of theology. Ironically, most Theologians believe that “God is love” is the most important scripture in the bible today.

The human is designed by God to love only one higher power; if duel higher powers exist, then the mind begin to voluntarily and involuntarily by nature observes both critically, and after comparing over time the mind involuntarily drift toward one. Furthermore, the human mind can only love what is a unity, and have no affection for what is diverging; we have a wait and see what solidifies. This can be call a natural progression as designed by God with the sole purpose to seek and find Him.

The Greeks are noted for developing and expanding upon the term of the Creator, the One Who created All.  The Jews added that God was a benevolent God which could exercise wrath upon ones that disobeyed Him. appeasing God and winning His affection without warranting His wrath is emphasised in the Old Testament. God had began to reveal His personality to mankind.

The Jews arrived at the term Messiah; One who would come to Earth, and create a community among the Jews approaching that of a utopia. The Jews to this day are still looking for their Messiah, and refusing to accept Christ Jesus as their Messiah. I mentioned all of the above in order to bring us to Jesus, the Son of God.

No one really imagined that God’s Holy Spirit would Father a child in the womb of  a woman, but this was the beginning.

Jesus grew in statue and waxed strong in the Spirit. When entering adulthood He began to work miracles; bring the dead to life again, healing the sick, and testifying about His Heavenly Father.

Jesus was crucified, and was resurrected three days later by God, His Heavenly Father, which revealed that God’s Holy Spirit was life, and could not be destroyed by man, and establish that all things of God shall last forever as the grass and flowers revive each year.

Christianity has had its ups and downs, but also has grown in magnitude and depth. During its evolution the clergymen claimed that only they could give the meaning of the Word of God. This placed the clergy between God and the common man. It was common to charge fees to mediate between a commoner and God. But this all changed when Martin Luther of Germany and Calvin of England began a movement posing that any soul that could read could read the scriptures and have a relationship with God. This was revolutionary and almost got the two mentioned above killed, but they were imprisoned for teaching such.

This movement brought into being the true meaning of Christianity; a relationship with God available to each soul. This was the beginning of a “Personal Relationship with God.” This was what Jesus desired as He said “…power comes by fasting and prayer…for any soul” The Day Of Pentecostal when a group of believers meet to receive the promise of Christ Jesus which was the receiving of the Holy Spirit. The book of Acts describes this event in detail when the believers did as Jesus promised, received God’s Spirit and came into the presence of God. This was Earth shaking and absolutely profound. Man had found God.

Jesus, the Son of God, is the conduit in the Spirit in order to received from our Heavenly Father. Through the Son of God we receive all the promises of God with abundance and joy.

  • Matthew 8:29
And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?”
  • Matthew 14:33
Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.”
  • Matthew 16:16
Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
  • Matthew 26:63
But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him, “I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!”
  • Matthew 27:40
and saying, “You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross.”
  • Matthew 27:43
He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now if He will have Him; for He said, ‘I am the Son of God.’”
  • Matthew 27:54
So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!”

Christianity Exist As A Resistance To Evil Acts Among The People

Although Christianity is a minority part of American society, it has always acted as an impedance to evil acts. Christianity has always helped to establish and maintain buffers between evil acts and good acts.

We are losing this resistive force and catalyst for positive actions in our American society. The boundaries against evil deeds are breaking down as evidenced by the mass shootings of the past 24 months with many killings per day in America.

The Secular Humanist has been attempting to harness the human potential without acknowledging God, but this is like creating an atomic bomb awaiting to explode.

The Word Of God brings peace and works patience while calming the beast.

The Word Of God gives hope that is conducive for peace.

The Word Of God Saves, and verifies that God is a  loving God.

Begin to comprehend the Word Of God, and the understanding of life shall begin. Seek God and His Righteousness, and all shall be added unto you. Contentment and satisfaction of each person shall bring goodness to all.

The Devil; Hidden In Normalcy

It’s ashamed that every time that I drive from my house I see one or two police cars. This can not be communicated as an exception to anyone. A  cashier can service it’s money till every time I am in line for two straight years in Los Angeles, but this can not be communicated to anyone as an exception. It has become obvious to me that the devil can easily control our lives; living under the cover of normalcy. We are ignoramuses; blind to the devil.

The devil is running to and fro in the normalcy of our  affairs.  The devil is in the details. The most profound deception by the devil is that he doesn’t exist. This is most facilitated under the hood of normalcy in which prevents the targeted person from communicating their problems to others even the authorities who should be aware of such activities.

SIG (special interests that target private citizens) can operate with anonymity, destroying lives and inciting atrocities such as the mass killings by disturbed shooter. If SIG wouldn’t have targeted  them, than many love ones would be alive today. SIG is a bitch!

To experience a free democracy one must not be harassed by SIG who turns lives rotten which is worst than living in any communist country. These special interests destroys any and all life pleasantries. They destroy the first two options which would lead unto a pleasant outcome away from the targeted person. A poor soul targeted by SIG lives on 3rd and 4th options if they even exist.  In Hell!

Do unto others as you would like them to do unto you. Spread  the love of Jesus. Please remember that the potentiality of normal things when increased in frequency is no longer normal to the targeted person.

“Sleep with the devil, and wake up in hell.”

Joshua 7:11: “Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed My covenant which I commanded them. For they have even taken some of the accursed things, and have both stolen and deceived; and they have also put it among their own stuff.”

Matthew 25:41:   “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.”

  1. Matthew 8:31:  “So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.”

THY KINGDOM COME

God has founded the universe, and the Earth came into being. Scientist have been discovering how precise the parameters are that led to the present Earth which also was formed to cultivate the evolving development of life. If the value of the five forces of nature would have varied by only one ten thousandth of a degree than we would not be here.

As man accrued knowledge, he began to ponder the afterlife. This led to the concept of a God(s) who was responsible for the nature of all things.

The concept of a Messiah who would solve all problems was a belief to give hope to the heavily burdened people. Man had learned to look into the future and have faith.

Jesus, the Son of God, was a seed from God who sent a Savior into the world that grew to be recognized by some men as the Messiah.

The Lord Prayer ask that God’s Kingdom come to Earth in the name of Jesus. It appears that the scripture that says “Seek God and His Righteousness, and all shall be added unto you” really mean find Jesus in this world; Jesus being God among us in the flesh. A personal relationship with Jesus is a personal relationship with God, our Heavenly Father.

  1. Matthew 3:2
and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
  2. Matthew 4:17
From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

  3. Matthew 6:10
your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

  4. Matthew 8:11
I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

  5. Matthew 10:7
As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’

  6. Matthew 12:28
But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

  7. Matthew 13:19
When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path.

  8. Matthew 19:14
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

  9. Matthew 24:14
And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

  10. Matthew 25:34
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.

  11. Mark 1:15
“The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!”

  12. Mark 9:1
And he said to them, “Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see that the kingdom of God has come with power.”

  13. Mark 10:14
When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

  14. Luke 10:9
Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’

  15. Luke 10:11
‘Even the dust of your town we wipe from our feet as a warning to you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God has come near.’

  16. Luke 11:2
He said to them, “When you pray, say: “‘Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.

  17. Luke 11:20
But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

  1. Luke 13:29
People will come from east and west and north and south, and will take their places at the feast in the kingdom of God.

  2. Luke 17:20
[ The Coming of the Kingdom of God ] Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed,

  3. Luke 18:16
But Jesus called the children to him and said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as
  4. Luke 22:18
  5. For I tell you I will not drink again from the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”
  6.
  7. Luke 23:42
Then he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”

  8. 1 Corinthians 15:24
Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power.

  9. Revelation 12:10
Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.

Israel’s Sojourn in Egypt—And How it Affects Calculation of a Creation Date

Many of the arguments for a young Earth and universe rely on Bishop Ussher’s biblical chronology. However, we assert that there are good reasons to doubt the reliability of Ussher’s work because of his treatment of Israel’s sojourn in Egypt.

Seventeenth century scholar Bishop James Ussher remains known for his biblical chronology, which calculates that creation began at nightfall preceding Sunday, October 23, 4004 BC. Ussher’s chronology has become a cornerstone for young-earth creationism (YEC). However, Ussher’s treatment of the Israelites’ “sojourn” in Egypt could call into question his methodology, and this in turn might undermine the validity of young-earth arguments.

The “sojourn” began when the family of Jacob “descended” into Egypt under the sponsorship of Joseph and ended with the Exodus led by Moses. How long did it extend?  The Hebrew text (which is used for modern English Bibles) and the Greek Septuagint (LXX) disagree; note the differences in modern translations of Exodus 12:40:

  • New American Standard Bible, updated edition (Hebrew based): “Now the time that the sons of Israel lived in Egypt was four hundred and thirty years.”
  • Greek Septuagint: “And the sojourning of the children of Israel, while they sojourned in the land of Egypt and the land of Canaan, [was] four hundred and thirty years.”

The Hebrew text says the Israelites spent 430 years in Egypt. The LXX, on the other hand, counts 430 years from the time Abraham entered Canaan. Therefore, since Abraham left Haran 215 years before the descent into Egypt,1 the LXX allows only 215 years for the actual sojourn in the land of the pharaohs.

The LXX is a translation of the Pentateuch into Greek, made in the third century BC by Jewish scholars in Alexandria, Egypt.2 Today the LXX is often valuable in interpreting finer points of biblical Hebrew, because the choice of Greek words reflects third century Jewish tradition regarding the meaning of Hebrew words. However, the LXX consistently modifies dates recorded in the Hebrew text.3

In building his chronology, Bishop Ussher followed the Hebrew text from creation to the descent into Egypt—but he switched to the LXX for the time of the sojourn. This raises the question: which version has the correct sojourn period? For young-earth creationists, the answer is foundational in defending their views on the age of the Earth and on biblical inerrancy.

Those who support biblical inerrancy almost universally believe that inerrancy applies to the Hebrew text, not the LXX. So, can YEC supporters who subscribe to Ussher’s chronology profess to believe in biblical inerrancy when they subscribe to Ussher’s claim that the Hebrew text is wrong and the LXX is right with regard to the Israelites’ sojourn?

Ussher’s Choice

The question is: why did Ussher choose to use the 215 years of the LXX when up until the descent into Egypt he had followed the Hebrew text?4 Unfortunately, Ussher does not explain this, but a clue may be found in his description of Moses’ genealogy. Ussher sets the date of the descent at 1706 BC, the death of Levi 87 years later5 (1619 BC), the birth of Moses to Amram and Jochebed 135 years after the descent (1571 BC), the Exodus 215 years after the descent (1491 BC), and the death of Amram shortly before the Exodus.6

As we have discussed earlier, it is impossible for Amram and Jochebed to have been Moses’ parents if the Israelite sojourn in Egypt was 430 years (and it is unlikely even with a 215-year sojourn). We believe the tradition conveyed in modern Bible translations that Amram and Jochebed are Moses’ parents is caused by a misunderstanding of the Hebrew. If we are correct and Amram and Jochebed are not Moses’ parents, then there is a gap in Moses’ recordedgenealogy.

Such a gap would cause Ussher’s chronological hermeneutic to fall apart—along with the chronological hermeneutic of his intellectual heirs in the YEC movement. We believe Ussher chose the LXX in this instance because he recognized the problem the Hebrew text presents for Moses’ genealogy, and the LXX provided the only way he could claim to calculate the date of creation with any plausibility. Unfortunately, it inadvertently requires renouncing biblical inerrancy or denying the reliability of the Jewish scribes who copied the Hebrew text over the centuries.

But is Ussher correct? Is the LXX accurate in Exodus 12:40? According to Old Testament scholar Leon Wood, “a well-known rule in textual criticism is that the Masoretic Hebrew text should be favored unless the evidence from other testimony is strong.”7

William Henry Green, a preeminent Old Testament scholar of the nineteenth century, questions the reliability of LXX dates which, as noted above, are consistently modified from those recorded in the Hebrew text. Green states: “A simple glance at these numbers [in Genesis 5] is sufficient to show that the Hebrew is the original, from which the [LXX and Samaritan Pentateuch] diverge.”8 This opinion is confirmed by one glaring discrepancy in the LXX chronology: according to the methodology followed by Ussher and young-earth creationists, the Hebrew text indicates Methuselah died in the year of Noah’s flood, but the LXX suggests he lived 14 years after the flood.

How Long Was the Sojourn?

Wood details the arguments for both a sojourn of 430 and of 215 years in his book A Survey of Israel’s History.9 He concludes in favor of 430 years, but observes that the strongest argument for 215 years is in Galatians 3:17:

The Law, which came four hundred and thirty years later, does not invalidate a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to nullify the promise. (Galatians 3:17 NASB)

Some claim Paul followed the LXX in this verse, but Wood suggests Paul carefully chose his words to be deliberately ambiguous. As a biblical scholar, Paul was intimately familiar with both the Hebrew text and the LXX; he knew their differences and the debate about them. Wood believes Paul did not wish his readers to get embroiled in a discussion about the length of time the Israelites were in Egypt and, therefore, he used a date that “made any chronological conclusion by Paul’s readers necessarily indefinite and allowed him to use a figure that would at the same time not be distracting yet historically accurate.”10

Paul’s statement is ambiguous because God’s promise was given to Abraham in Haran (Genesis 12:1–3), but the covenant took years to develop. The covenant process was initiated with a sacrifice (Genesis 15:8–21) after Abraham left Haran, went to Egypt, rescued Lot, and gave a tithe to Melchizedek; it was finally signed and sealed 24 years after Abraham left Haran (Genesis 17:1–14). Furthermore, God’s promise was repeated multiple times, and the final repetition was given to Jacob just before he entered Egypt (Genesis 46:1–4). Galatians 3:17 is actually the conclusion of a discussion of God’s “promises [which] were spoken to Abraham and his seed” (Galatians 3:16 NASB). Hence, Paul allows his readers to choose to accept either a sojourn of 215 or of 430 years. Such an ambiguity draws the reader’s attention away from a secondary issue of chronology and concentrates on the primary issue: that God’s promise/covenant has primacy over the Law. Chronology has value, but Paul sacrifices a discussion about chronology so as to focus on a more important issue.

We do not know of any reason that has been demonstrated that demands rejection of the Hebrew text as transcribed through the centuries, so we subscribe to the 430 years in the Hebrew text. If the Hebrew text is correct, the result is a clear 215-year error in Ussher’s chronology. However, it exposes a much deeper problem: can Ussher and his intellectual heirs “cherry-pick” dates from the Hebrew text or the LXX just to avoid chronological gaps—and what would this say about biblical inerrancy? This particular issue emphasizes the strong possibility of gaps throughout the biblical chronologies, and thus brings into question the entire process of calculating a date for creation. (HH,RTB)

The Holy Spirit Is God In You; A Visitation

I tend not to defend the behavior of church members. I only witness Christ Jesus, my Lord and Savior. Atheist are attacking religion more than ever. The main position of atheist is “prove your God existence” and “how do your God interact with people if any?” Also, “Christians behave just as nonbelievers alone with religion causes wars in which many people are slaughtered.”

The respond for anti-religion pundits who poses the questions formally is being born again. Receiving God’s Holy Spirit confirms God and answers all questions in One’s life. Upon receiving this visitation from God One knows the answers to life at that moment. One receives the truth rather than having to seek  if all is true. This is why tears begin to flow from the One who is suddenly saved because the One is at rest with peace, and receiving God’s love Who is giving eternal knowledge to the Born Again person.  As witnessed, tears flow because the person has been chosen by God (Like little ole’ me) and realizes that the presence of God is the answer to life.  The tears of joy is from the stress and frustration being dissipated

God’s Holy Spirit is the presence of God. One must experience this born again before God is proved to them. After receiving God’s Holy Spirit the person saved has no doubts concerning the existence of God. THEY HAVE MET HIM.

In the form of Christ Jesus Who possessed God His Father’s Spirit without limit, each person can receive God’s Spirit in the name of Jesus.

Many wars have been fought in the name of some religion, but Jesus and those who received God’s Holy Spirit has never said go to war. Yes, Jesus said that I bring a sword, but this is referring to spiritual warfare within a person only.

I can not prove God to anyone who doesn’t believe or has not received God’s Eternal Spirit; I can only witness Jesus Who can introduce God to them.

  1. Psalm 51:11
Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.
  2. Isaiah 63:11: “Then his people recalled the days of old, the days of Moses and his people— where is he who brought them through the sea, with the shepherd of his flock? Where is he who set his Holy Spirit among them.
  3. Matthew 1:18
    1. [ Joseph Accepts Jesus as His Son ] This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit.
    2. Matthew 1:20: “But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.”
    3. John 14:26: “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name (Jesus), will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”
    4. John 15:26:  “The Work of the Holy Spirit ] “When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me. (The Spirit of Truth has always been in the world)

Extra Grace Required in Science-Faith Relationships

We all know people who tend to deplete our reserves of patience and good will. (Perhaps we’ve even been one of these folks.) I’ve taken to identifying such people as “EGRs”: extra grace required. This label, which I adopted from a guest speaker at my church, helps remind me to reign in my irritability and pray for an extra measure of patience when dealing with difficult people. After all, I require extra grace, too.

Interactions within the science-faith arena provide plentiful examples of EGRs. It’s an area of debate where most participants have strong opinions. Add to that the so-called keyboard courage of the Internet and we have a perfect scenario for producing anger, resentment, and hurt.

But it doesn’t have to be that way. My pastor recently kicked off his annual series on relationships with a list of behaviors to avoid. As I listened to him, I kept thinking, “This applies perfectly to allsides of the science-faith discussion!” I share his list below.

  1. Negativity: This behavior maintains a harsh attitude, allowing resentment to linger and build up until someone “pops.”
  2. Criticism: Critique is unavoidable in the science-faith arena, but it turns nasty when it attacks a person, instead of addressing a position. An attitude of complaining and blaming cultivates a critical spirit.
  3. Defensiveness: Maintaining an attitude of defensiveness keeps barriers up and blocks the healing potential of civility and kindness.
  4. Sarcasm: This is a biggie, especially on the Internet. As my pastor put it, “Sarcasm conveys disgust, which kills reconciliation.”
  5. Stonewalling: Of all these behaviors, stonewalling is probably the one I’m personally most susceptible to. Sometimes it seems easier to just disengage and avoid interaction than to risk getting hurt.

Romans 12:9–21 provides an excellent remedy for these not-so-gracious relationship killers. (I’ve highlighted portions that stand out as particularly poignant for science-faith debates.)

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary:

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Verse 18 stands out the most to me: “If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.” We will encounter EGRs on web forums, in university classes, at work, at home, etc. While we can’t control their behavior, we can control ours. Just because someone makes a nasty remark about our beliefs doesn’t mean we need to retaliate in kind.

So, before we give in to the knee-jerk instinct to retaliate, let’s stop and consider if our response will kill or build relationships.

Do Scientists Accept the Results of the ENCODE Project?

In September 2012, the ENCODE Project Consortium announced the results of the second phase of research designed to identify and catalog all the functional elements in the human genome. The ENCODE results may well be one of the most important scientific achievements in my lifetime, or at least in my time as a physicist. Accurately specifying the function of each known gene of us humans will give medical scientist the ability to remove hereditary diseases, and increase the quality of life and life expectancy for many people.

Since the initial sequencing of the human genome, many skeptics and evolutionary biologists have asserted that the most compelling evidence for human evolution—and the most potent challenge against intelligent design/creationism—is the vast amount of junk DNA in the human genome. And yet, with the results of the ENCODE Project, these arguments evaporate. We can no longer consider the human genome a vast wasteland of junk, but an elegant system that displays sophistication in its architecture and operation, far beyond what most evolutionary biologists ever imagined.

When announced, the ENCODE results generated quite a bit of Internet chatter. Many skeptics asserted that the media and design proponents overhyped and misconstrued the project’s discoveries. Shortly thereafter, several papers appeared in the scientific literature highlighting ENCODE’s “flaws.”2 Many evolutionary biologists hope these critiques will undermine the project’s conclusion that 80 percent of the human genome, at minimum, contains functional DNA elements.

Yet, very good reasons exist for thinking that the ENCODE Project’s results are still valid. In fact, I have written several articles that provide a detailed response to each criticism. I conclude that the charges against ENCODE lack technical merit and appear to be motivated by philosophical considerations more than anything else. To read my response to these criticisms click on the below links:

It is interesting to note that not everyone in the scientific community agrees with the ENCODE skeptics. Molecular geneticist John Mattick, executive director of the Garvan Institute of Medical Research in Australia, believes in ENCODE’s validity.3 In a recent article, Mattick and his coauthor, Marcel Dinger, argue, like me, that the criticisms of ENCODE are unwarranted technically and are motivated by non-scientific considerations.

One of the chief criticisms leveled at ENCODE relates to its use of a causal definition of function to determine functionality within the human genome. That is, a sequence element in the genome possesses function if it performs an observationally or experimentally identified role. ENCODE skeptics argue that this definition is faulty; instead, the project should have relied on sequence conservation (the so-called selected effect definition) as a way to measure function.

According to the selected effect definition, sequences in genomes can be deemed functional only if they evolved under evolutionary processes to perform a particular function. Once these sequences are evolved, the effects of natural selection make them resistant to change because, at this point, any further alteration would compromise the function of the sequence and, consequently, be deleterious. Reduced survivability and reproductive success would then eliminate organisms possessing deleterious sequence variations from the population. Hence, functional sequences are those under the effects of selection. And based on a selected effect definition of function, only 10 percent (not 80) of the human genome could be considered functional.

Mattick and Dinger decry the weakness of the selected effect definition. They argue that the genome’s regulatory regions are much more malleable than the selected effect idea suggests, retaining function in the face of mutational changes. Thus, sequence conservation (one way to detect selection at work) cannot be a valid marker of function. Mattick and Dinger propose and defend differential transcription, an alternative measure of function. They note that during the course of development, the vast majority of the human genome (and the genome of other mammals) is “differentially transcribed in precise cell-specific patterns” to generate RNA molecules with a regulatory role. It is interesting to note that this is a causal definition of function, meaning it relies on cause-and-effect relationships.

In response to Mattick and Dinger’s definition of function, ENCODE skeptics claim that transcription of the genome is noisy (random, and arbitrary). As such, transcription cannot be viewed as an indicator of function. In a previous article, I offer a response to this challenge. So, too, do Mattick and Dinger. They state:

Assertions that the observed transcription represents random noise…is more opinion than fact and difficult to reconcile with the exquisite precision of differential cell- and tissue-specific transcription in human cells…4

ENCODE skeptics also complain that the results of the project don’t make sense in light of the C-value paradox. This paradox states that most of an organism’s genome consists of DNA that doesn’t code for proteins or regulate gene expression. Researchers have long held that the non-coding DNA serves no real purpose—they view it as useless junk, vestiges of evolutionary processes.

The concern among ENCODE skeptics is that if the project’s conclusion is valid, then most, if not all, of the human genome contains functional DNA. Thus, the human genome contains very little junk DNA, which would constitute an absurdity in light of the C-value paradox. Therefore, the project’s results cannot be correct according to ENCODE skeptics.

The C-value paradox also explains why organisms less sophisticated than humans have larger genomes. That is, genome size is due to junk DNA and has no relationship to an organism’s complexity. Again, if the ENCODE results are correct, then this phenomenon has no explanation.

But as Mattick and Dinger point out, the large genome sizes of relatively simple organisms appear to stem from duplications of extensive genome regions (a phenomenon referred to aspolyploidy). To put it differently, the ENCODE conclusions are fully compatible with the C-value paradox.

Also, Mattick and Dinger rightly point out that the ENCODE skeptics appear to be motivated by non-scientific factors.

There may also be another factor motivating the Graur et al. and related articles (van Bakel et al. 2010; Scanlan 2012), which is suggested by the sources and selection of quotations used at the beginning of the article, as well as in the use of the phrase “evolution-free gospel” in its title (Graur et al. 2013): the argument of a largely non-functional genome is invoked by some evolutionary theorists in the debate against the proposition of intelligent design of life on earth, particularly with respect to the origin of humanity. In essence, the argument posits that the presence of non-protein coding or so-called ‘junk DNA’ that comprises > 90% of the human genome is evidence for the accumulation of evolutionary debris by blind Darwinian evolution, and argues against intelligent design, as an intelligent designer would presumably not fill the human genetic instruction set with meaningless information (Dawkins 1986; Collins 2006). This argument is threatened in the face of growing functional indices of noncoding regions of the genome, with the latter reciprocally used in support of the notion of intelligent design and to challenge the conception that natural selection accounts for the existence of complex organisms (Behe 2003; Wells2011).5

In other words, there are many in the scientific community who are concerned that the results of the ENCODE Project play right into the hands of creationists and intelligent design proponents—and that’s a reason for dismissing the ENCODE conclusions.

It is safe to say there are scientists who accept the ENCODE project even though the results undermine what many consider to be the most compelling argument for biological evolution—while at the same time highlighting the elegant design of the human genome, a system befitting the work of the Creator. Physics Of The Gospel

The Gospel means good news! All humans have an innate desire to spread the word about anything that is good. Spreading the news that God has come to Earth is absolutely good. This event is verified in the bible and again confirmed in One’s spirit.

In Romans 1:20;

New King James Version (NKJV)

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

we have the statement in the bible that physics is part of the Gospel that is inspired by the word of God,  for 2 Peter 3:10 says;

[ The Day of the Lord ] But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.

2 Peter 3:12
looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat?

There are many more scriptures in the bible that are of a physics and metaphysics nature.

Warning! Warning! The stone of offense that God laid in Zion (In the essence of things) is going to roll soon grinding into powder all that opposes Him, destroying their integrity completely. Stigmatizing God in public schools is a no-no. I feel in my spirit, soul, and dreams that revival is coming soon, revealing God’s chosen and precious stone.

Romans 9:33
As it is written: “Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and rock of offense, And whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”

The Son Of God Is God As A Man

Nay-sayers is now proclaiming that Christianity is obsolete when in fact our society has not lived up to the “Ten Commandments” which take up one-fourth of a page in the bible that has over a thousand pages on the average according to print size. From the beginning unto the end of the bible there are over 60 promises from God in which only one has the power to give any person a happy life such as “seek the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and All shall be added unto you” with All meaning All things.

The key is to have faith in Jesus, the Son of God, and know that He is God in the flesh among us. “Be still and know that I am God.” God is a Spirit, and is among us now; just know the connection that Jesus has with God. “If you have seen me, than you have seen the Father.”

Matthew 4:3
Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

Matthew 4:6
and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written: ‘He shall give His angels charge over you,’ and, ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, Lest you dash your foot against a stone.’”

Matthew 5:9
Blessed are the peacemakers, For they shall be called sons of God.

Matthew 8:29
And suddenly they cried out, saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?”

Matthew 14:33
Then those who were in the boat came and worshiped Him, saying, “Truly You are the Son of God.”

Matthew 16:16
Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Matthew 26:63
But Jesus kept silent. And the high priest answered and said to Him, “I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God!”

Matthew 27:40
and saying, “You who destroy the temple and build it in three days, save Yourself! If You are the Son of God, come down from the cross.”

Matthew 27:43
He trusted in God; let Him deliver Him now if He will have Him; for He said, ‘I am the Son of God.’”

Matthew 27:54
So when the centurion and those with him, who were guarding Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly this was the Son of God!”

Mark 1:1
[ John the Baptist Prepares the Way ] The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Mark 3:11
And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw Him, fell down before Him and cried out, saying, “You are the Son of God.”

Mark 5:7
And he cried out with a loud voice and said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God that You do not torment me.”

Mark 15:39
So when the centurion, who stood opposite Him, saw that He cried out like this and breathed His last, he said, “Truly this Man was the Son of God!”

Luke 1:32
He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.

Luke 1:35
And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.

Luke 3:2
while Annas and Caiaphas were high priests, the word of God came to John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.

Luke 3:38
the son of Enosh, the son of Seth, the son of Adam, the son of God.

Luke 4:3
And the devil said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.”

Luke 4:9
Then he brought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here”.
Luke 4:41
And demons also came out of many, crying out and saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of God!” And He, rebuking them, did not allow them to speak, for they knew that He was the Christ.

Luke 8:28
When he saw Jesus, he cried out, fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, “What have I to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me!”

Luke 12:8
[ Confess Christ Before Men ] “Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before the angels of God.

Luke 20:36
