12 Evidences for the Resurrection of Jesus, Part 1

Jesus’s resurrection is at the very heart of historic Christianity. In fact, the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ is both a central doctrinal belief of the faith and the primary evidence for the truth of the religion itself. Given the importance of Easter for Christians, it is appropriate for us to consider 12 evidences for the resurrection of Jesus. For greater depth on these points, see the recommended resources at the end of the article.

1. Jesus’s Empty Tomb

According to the Gospels1, after Jesus succumbed to death through crucifixion some of his followers prepared his lifeless body for burial and placed it in Joseph of Arimathea‘s tomb. Three days later the tomb was discovered empty, for Jesus’s body had vanished. The empty tomb is a critical part of the resurrection account, for if Jesus’s body had been recovered then Christianity would have been falsified right as it had just begun. Since Jesus predicted his resurrection (Mark 8:31; Luke 9:22), if he didn’t rise from the dead he would be a false prophet.

The report of Jesus’s empty tomb rings true, for the account emerges very early from a number of sources and there is no good reason to doubt any of the people mentioned in the story. Furthermore, the tomb was owned by a particular person so there is no good reason to think that Jesus’s followers had mistakenly gone to the wrong tomb. Also, the Jewish and Roman authorities had the resources to search thoroughly for the actual burial place had the empty tomb been a mere problem of mistaken identity.

It should also be recognized that the first alternative naturalistic explanation for the resurrection presupposed the truth of the vacated tomb. The Jewish authorities insisted that the tomb was empty because they planned to tell people that Jesus’s followers had come in the night and stolen the body (Matthew 28:13).

2. Jesus’s Postmortem Appearances

According to the apostle Paul’s letters2 as well as the four Gospel accounts, Jesus appeared alive after his death on numerous occasions. These appearances of Jesus were reported to be both physical and bodily in nature (he was seen, heard, and touched3) and not purely spiritual or ghost-like. The resurrection appearances were also diverse and varied in that Jesus appeared to men and women, friends and enemies, to single individuals as well as small and large groups of people, to some persons on a single occasion and to others more than once, during the day and the night, as well as indoors and outdoors.

It is this diverse and varied nature of the appearances that make it extremely improbable, if not impossible, to account for these encounters in terms of hallucinations. It may have been possible that the women who first encountered Jesus at the tomb succumbed to immense grief and experienced some kind of purely subjective and thus false vision of Jesus. But a purely psychological explanation is extremely implausible in the case of James the brother of Jesus who was highly suspicious of his brother’s claims and even thought that Jesus suffered from mental delusion. And in the case of Saul of Tarsus the hallucination theory is flatly impossible. Saul was an enemy of primitive Christianity and sought to imprison and even have Christians executed. Acting in a dismissive and violent manner against the early Christians and their beliefs, there is no way that Saul was susceptible to a false psychological experience.

It is also important to note that if one rejects the miraculous explanation of Jesus’s appearances, then two naturalistic alternative explanations are required—one to explain the empty tomb and another to explain the numerous appearances. But the more complex these alternative theories are, the less likely they are to be true and viable.

So they went and made the tomb secure by putting a seal on the stone and posting the guard.

The Day That The Lord Give Is Above Your Circumstances

By Will Myers
The day that the Lord gave is wonderful, but there is much more to the Day Of The Lord than a beautiful, sun shining day. The Day of the Lord gives eternal life. But why do we die? In the spirit, we do not die but only transform into our eternal life; meanwhile, here on earth, we can enjoy a taste of eternal life. Getting back to earth, the day gives us light in the beginning. The Word of God is now available. With its knowledge, there is always spiritual light that no man can put out. The mind operates on light from the foundation of the world which is the truths of God (please research some results of the neuroscientist, Dr. C. Leaf). The Son of God is that whole Truth who have God’s Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 28:16; (NIV)

16 So this is what the Sovereign Lord says:

“See, I lay a stone in Zion (in the essence of things), a tested stone,
    a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation;
the one who relies on it
will never be stricken with panic.”

The foundation given by God will never crumble. You shall have a sound mind that can resist the tricks of the devil. When your circumstances become bad as mine once than one must have faith in the word of God and have the love for Jesus in your heart.

Any of the Lord’s commands to you through him, from the day the Lord gave them and continuing through the generations to come—
 <
To this day, the individual has only one standing against the people and that is standing on the word of God. Even now, they are working nite and day to remove or discredit the word of God because the devil knows that he can’t stand against God’s Truth which is the foundation of our mind. The devil operates in darkness; God is light. God’s Day extends forever.

Romans 1:20; (NIV)

20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

Invisible things are eternal and things seen are temporary. We can observe the invisible things of God by observing the way things are made. The Word Of God gives us form by which we can observe. Upon beholding the knowledge of the Word of God we can observe the Truths of God even unto His Son and His Holy Spirit. With faith, you can live about your circumstances when they go bad.

Jesus, Our Advocate To God In The Spirit Now

By Will Myers

We are displayed from God due to the sin of Adam and Eve. Everyone could or would have been living in a paradise without death or depression; having only a mind with constant gratification and joy without any boredom.  Jesus shall be our Advocate in order to mediate over the displacement from God, standing between the abyss.

Now that Jesus is not physically in our world we have Him in the spirit alive in each of us. God’s Holy Spirit has been sent to mankind in the name of His Son Jesus as a Comforter and Advocate. Since God’s Holy Spirit works everywhere and we don’t know everything, we are to know the Spirit Of Truth who shall lead us through all remaining truths that are yet to come, and He shall speak only what He hears. The Sprit Of Truth shall also speak of Jesus, the Son Of God.

Hebrews 7:25 (NIV)

“Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through Him because He always lives to intercede for them. ”

Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!
<

Now, we can enter the Kingdom of God and be in His presence. Staying in the Kingdom through the Spirit of Jesus is your problem; is up to you. Using your Heavenly Language (speaking in tongues) is your first step; thereafter, God shall make the next steps to keep you in His presence. So, speak out boldly with your Heavenly Language and listen patiently.  While speaking in tongues satan does not know what you are saying to God but our Heavenly Fathers knows all. When speaking in tongues in the name of Jesus your deepest thoughts and feelings are expressed to your Heavenly Father beyond what you are consciously aware.

<

All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.

(both Jews and converts to Judaism); Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!”

For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God. Then Peter said,

When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.

The Beginning And The End Then New Glory

By Will Myers
<
In the beginning, God created all of the existence perfectly which obeys irrevocable laws of physics. In the passage below Isaiah was inspired by God to note the world was founded on exact laws. With noting that Zion means “in the essence of things,” Isaiah was inspired by God to let us know that the world was founded on perfect laws. We now know that the book of nature is perfect and the book of the Word Of God is, by all means, perfect. The book of nature is about laws and can not create or give life, but can enhance life. God’s Holy Spirit is a giver of life and the Glory of life from God.
The books of nature and the Word of God being perfect one can not correct the other because the other is also perfect. But, the book of nature (physical laws) can help to correct false interpretations of scriptures in the Bible or enhance them as Paul stated in Romans 1:20 as listed below.

Isaiah 28:16; (NIV)

16 So this is what the Sovereign Lord says:

“See, I lay a stone in Zion, a tested stone,
    a precious cornerstone for a sure foundation;
the one who relies on it
will never be stricken with panic.

Of the greatness of his government and peace, there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.

[ The Kingdom of Righteousness ] See, a king will reign in righteousness and rulers will rule with justice.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
<
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit,
<

Romans 1:20; (NIV)

20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
<
Of course, we, the lovers of Christ Jesus, are all going to come down from the clouds and begin to create the paradise; God’s original purpose for us on earth before Adam and Eve sinned. Satan can never stop the Will of God.

Dragging Space and Time and the Existence of God

Proving the reliability of general relativity to precisely describe the dynamics (movements) of massive bodies in the universe is fundamental to establishing the space-time theorems.1 These theorems prove the beginning (creation) of space and time. The creation of space and time implies the existence of a Creator beyond space and time, which uniquely describes the God of the Bible.

It is the theological significance of general relativity that has prompted astronomers and physicists to subject general relativity to exhaustive testing. However, one test of general relativity has proven to be elusive—namely, the Lense-Thirring effect.

Josef Lense and Hans Thirring were Austrian physicists who, in dialogue with Albert Einstein, showed in 1918 that general relativity predicts that a massive rotating body will cause the space-time fabric in its vicinity to drag. This dragging effect will cause a small-mass body orbiting a high-mass body to precess (change its rotational axis orientation).

The dragging effect, however, is extremely tiny—only a few parts per billion for a body as massive and dense as Earth (weak field case). For example, general relativity predicts that in one satellite orbit about the Earth (around 25,000 miles), the space-time fabric in the vicinity of the satellite would be dragged by only about one inch. General relativity, however, predicts more dramatic effects for bodies as massive and dense as black holes and neutron stars (strong field case).

Even though the Lense-Thirring effect was one of the first predicted distinctives of Einstein’s theory of general relativity, it was the last to be put to a set of accurate tests. It remained elusive for nearly 100 years because of how extraordinarily difficult the tests are to perform. Only within the past 15 months have astronomers and physicists finally achieved exhaustive confirmation (for both the weak and strong gravitational field cases) that the general relativistic predictions of the Lense-Thirring effect are correct.

Weak Field Confirmations
For solar system bodies, the predicted Lense-Thirring effect is extremely small. However, three laser-ranged, Earth-orbiting satellites—LAGEOS I, LAGEOS II, and LARES—have the necessary sensitivity to detect the tiny effect. Using 3.5 years of observations from LARES and several more years of observations from LAGEOS I and II, a team of a dozen astronomers established that Earth’s dragging of inertial space-time frames matched the value predicted by the Lense-Thirring effect to within 0.6 percent.2

The Gravity Probe B mission, an Earth-orbiting satellite with four precision gyroscopes on board, measured a geodetic drift rate of -6,601.8 ± 18.3 milliarcseconds per year and a frame-dragging of -37.2 ± 7.2 milliarcseconds per year.3 General relativity predicted -6,606.1 milliarcseconds per year and -39.2 milliarcseconds per year, respectively.

Strong Field Confirmations
In 2016, a team of four Polish astronomers derived jet energetics and timescales for the two pairs of extended and misaligned lobes emanating from the radio galaxy 3C 293. Their analysis demonstrated that Lense-Thirring precession generated by the supermassive black hole in 3C 293’s nucleus (black hole’s mass exceeds several tens of millions of solar masses4) caused the observed jet dynamics.5

In the same year, an international team of eight astronomers reported on their observations of the iron emission line in the X-ray spectrum of the stellar mass black hole binary H1743-322. They showed that the quasiperiodic oscillations in the iron line centroid energy are produced by Lense-Thirring precession.6 One month earlier, a team of five Chinese astronomers showed that the quasiperiodic oscillations in the X-ray spectra of the black hole X-ray binary SWIFT J1842.5-1124 are consistent with the Lense-Thirring effect.7 Four months earlier, three astronomers in the Netherlands showed that the quasiperiodic oscillations in the X-ray flux from the stellar mass black hole binary GRS 1915+105 are caused by different radii in the inner accretion flow of the black hole experiencing Lense-Thirring precession at different frequencies.8 Ten months earlier, five European and Canadian astronomers’ observations of the black hole binary SWIFT J1753.5-0127 likewise showed quasiperiodic oscillations due to the Lense-Thirring effect.9

So What?
Today, it can be said that no theory of physics has ever been tested in so many different contexts and so rigorously and exhaustively as general relativity. The fact that Einstein’s theory has withstood all these tests so remarkably well implies that no basis remains for doubting any of the theological and philosophical conclusions dependent upon it. Since general relativity accurately describes the dynamics of the universe in all contexts, the space-time theorems can be trusted. Time really does have a beginning. There really is a God who transcendently created all the space-time dimensions of our universe.

Love Fulfills the Law

By Will Myers

Love is like a huge potential field that attracts the truth. Love also attracts evil but the truth abounds much more. God’s salvation is given through His Son Jesus, and Jesus’s love shall triumph over evil every time because God has fixed the outcome.

Romans 13:8

New International Version

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.

<
No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”
<
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
<

Matthew 22:35-37; New International Version (NIV)

35 One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

The law can not create life but can support, enhance, and preserve it. Only by grace are we saved by God Who sent His Son to redeem us unto the Father God. The law of love places one near our Savior Jesus making it easy to accept their salvation. By love, One can easily recognize God’s Son and become saved.

THE MIND CHANGES THE BRAIN

VIEW THIS EMAIL IN YOUR BROWSER
Dr. Leaf - Switch on your brain

AN UPDATE FROM DR. CAROLINE LEAF

Materialists believe that the mind emerges from the brain and that the mind (soul) is an artifact of the brain. Like the Sadducees of Jesus’ time, they only believe what they can see, feel and touch (Matthew 22:23-31, Acts 23:8). This has been the prevailing paradigm in the western scientific world since Charles Darwin’s Theory of Evolution became the dominant scientific dogma. Recently, however, there has been growing dissent in the area of neuroscience, psychology, and psychiatry because the result of adherence to the materialists’ philosophy in the lives of patients, where the rubber meets the road, has been devastating [1]. Interestingly the discovery of the baffling area of quantum physics at the beginning of the last century [2] marked the beginning the crumbling of materialist philosophy. Denial of the power of the mind, and by extension the spirit, in the treatment of patients with mental and even physical disorders, has led to poor treatment outcomes in many cases. The materialist position, therefore, is becoming increasing untenable.

See this VIDEO on Neuroplasticity and the Mind (28mins)

See REFERENCES

Alternatively, the Bible presents the view of the spirit, soul and the body as separate, but intimately integrated entities (Genesis 2:7, Matthew 26:41, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, Hebrews 4:12). Each of us is a spirit, having a soul (mind) and living in a body. Life is actually a spiritual force. The mind has the power of intellect, emotions and free will [3], and, if enabled by the spirit and, empowered by the Holy Spirit, can make good choices that can positively change the body, which includes the brain. The materialist view, however, in denying the existence of the spirit and soul, has held to the pre-eminence of the body. This mindset contributed to the view that the brain could not really be changed once we reached adolescence and that all we could hope for in many psychiatric and neurological conditions was compensation and reliance on medication rather than a total cure. This was the prevailing view in the 1980s when I started in research and clinical practice as a communication pathologist treating patients with various learning, language, mental and neurological conditions in clinical and educational settings and research settings. Because of my belief in the link between science and scripture, I set out to help patients, who the medical community had given up on, with very exciting results [4]. I also had the privilege of helping destitute students in deprived schools [5]. At the time clinicians and educationalists like myself, who believed in the power of the mind to change the brain, were scoffed at. However, as the Sanhedrin discovered, when faced with the walking man who was once crippled (Act 4:14), it was difficult to deny the results pouring out of the research.

Fortunately, certain discoveries have led credence to the biblical view, my research included. It was discovered that the brain continually changes in response to mental and sensory signals throughout the human lifespan [6]. This process has now been termed ‘neuroplasticity’. It was once thought that, as adults, we had the full complement of nerve cells (neurons) and that we basically lost neurons until we died. Now we know scientifically that we continue to produce neurons in certain areas of the brain constantly, a process known as neurogenesis [7]. The growing medical specialties of psychoneuroimmunology and psychoneuroendocrinology [8] are bringing to light the intimate relationship between the mind, the brain and the immune and endocrine systems. Remarkably the eye-opening science of epigenetics is showing how our choices can profoundly influence, not just our own genes and those that we are in the relationship with, but the genes of multiple generations of our descendants [9]. There is thankfully now a growing opposition to the materialist view even among mainstream scientists. In response to the growing evidence of the mind being able to change the brain, materialist has held the view that it is the brain that changes the brain [10]- this is akin to a computer reprogramming and redesigning itself.

Thankfully, in the face of growing recent evidence, the materialist view is losing some of its pre-eminence. There is growing dissent among a populace that is seeking answers to gnawing questions and cures to intractable mental and physical disorders [11]. Surveys show that the majority of lay people globally do not see themselves as biological automata, but as thinking human beings with the ability to think and choose to make biological change [12]. Furthermore, the crisis in the education, over-labeling, and over-medication of our children is crying out for a change of direction. It is time to return to what the Creator says about the nature of man in the Bible- He knows what we are made of and how we are made (Psalm 103:14). The Mind definitely changes the Brain. Jesus Heaven Is Available

By Will Myers
The 2nd heaven has levels as told by the Son of God, Jesus. One can enter the 2nd heaven with Jesus by receiving the spirit of Jesus at the center of your life. If you lose your life for Him then you shall gain it again in the 2nd heaven with a taste of eternal life. Pressing into the upper levels of the 2nd heaven with Jesus as the guide shall get you eternal life in the 3rd Heaven as promised by God.
<

and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom oheaven has come near.”

From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

[ True and False Disciples ] “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.

As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’

Truly I tell you, among those born of women there has not risen anyone greater than John the Baptist; yet whoever is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it.

He replied, “Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.

[ The Parable of the Weeds ] Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.

[ The Parables of the Mustard Seed and the Yeast ] He told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field.
<
There are three heavens beginning with the 1st heaven immediately above Earth, the atmosphere, with the 2nd heaven being the dynamic spiritual heaven. I like to call this heaven the Jesus Heaven because Jesus is King of this Kingdom.  The 3rd Heaven is where God lives in which His Son came. Our intellectual life is in the 1st heaven with our spiritual life being in the 2nd heaven. God is timeless; we are temporal and experiences the various dynamics of the time.
The 1st and 2nd heavens can be expressed by the metaphysical equation: UspaceVspace=Q.

Fearfully and Wonderfully Made

Have you ever wondered if human cloning might be a real possibility? And if so, how close we might be to seeing mini-me’s walking about? I think about this periodically. And I have to admit, I’ve met very few people that I think would be clone-worthy. I’m certainly not one of them!

Even though almost all of my cells contain the genetic blueprints to make a replica of baby AJ, it’s not enough just to replace the DNA in a fertilized egg with my adult DNA. One of the major hurdles in producing human clones, if it’s possible, is the reprogramming of the human genome that’s necessary to erase most modifications that have been made in order to sequester or expose segments of DNA, thereby silencing or turning-on different genes during development and differentiation of various cells for different tissues.

These accrued modifications are epigenetic changes, meaning they’re not changes to my primary DNA sequences. Epigenetic changes are dynamic and reversible and involve chemical modifications to DNA and to proteins bound to the DNA (histones) that affect its structure and accessibility. These changes affect how my DNA is read or expressed in different cells and which RNAs (both coding and noncoding) and proteins are made. And that, of course, affects how different cells differentiate and function.

DNA chains are double-stranded, anti-parallel, complementary strings of nucleotides, abbreviated A, C, G, and T. The ordered sequence of nucleotides specifies genes, regulatory sequences, and other elements necessary for coordinated development and differentiation of cells and organisms. A frequent epigenetic modification of DNA nucleotides involves addition of a methyl group (-CH3) to cytosine bases (Cs). Methylation tends to silence DNA, which means the sequence cannot be read (or transcribed) by polymerase complexes.

Recent identification of enzymes that make similar modifications to adenine bases (As) in messenger RNAs and in DNA are adding layers of complexity to the array of epigenetic signals that control development, differentiation, and adaptive changes of highly complex and dynamic cellular systems.[1, 2] As we discover more epigenetic marks and learn more about how various epigenetic changes affect our transcriptomes the level of complexity is staggering.

Epigenetics and embryogenesis

The complexity at a cellular level in embryogenesis (formation and development of an embryo) and human development is mind-boggling. So much can go wrong even in the transition from insemination to the earliest multicellular blastula stage that it is no exaggeration to think of each pregnancy, let alone a successful birth, as truly miraculous. In fact, transitioning through the steps from insemination to birth is a string of wondrous events, only a few of which are well characterized molecularly. The overwhelming majority of triggers and signals and coordinating factors that alter epigenetic modifications—erasing some, preserving others, timing and coordinating thousands upon thousands of such events during embryogenesis—are yet to be teased out.

During fertilization, the mother and father each provide one set of human chromosomes for the miracle-to-be offspring (baby). Each set of chromosomes comes from a fully differentiated cell: one an egg, the other a sperm. The genetic material in each cell was programmed, through epigenetic modifications, to be an egg or a sperm. But when the two come together in fertilization they produce a zygote, the first stage of embryogenesis. The zygote’s DNA must be reprogrammed to a totipotent state—one where all potential outcomes are possible—in order to eventually produce roughly 200 hundred different cell types, through countless cell divisions, en route to becoming a fully developed human being. Reprogramming to totipotency may occur in a single cell cycle from oocyte to zygote. However, additional demethylation and further epigenetic reprogramming may occur in the early blastocyst stage. [3]

During zygote formation, the egg and sperm are not just providing chromosomes but additional cellular components.  No doubt the oocyte (egg) provides the bulk of these as it provides thousands of other RNAs, biomolecules, and nanomachines in addition to a set of chromosomes. Therefore, many epigenetic modifications passed on to offspring are most likely passed on from the mother. However, scientists know that the father too can pass on epigenetic modifications. Both maternal and paternal DNA are highly methylated (hypermethylated), reflecting the number of genes and regulatory signals that needed to be silenced in terminal differentiation of the gametes (eggs and sperm). Whether maternal or paternal, most epigenetic modifications need to be reset or erased for the embryo to develop properly.

Demethylation, removing the modifications, is absolutely essential for zygotic reprogramming. De novo demethylation occurs in the paternal genome shortly after fertilization. Passive demethylation also occurs as DNA is replicated and cells undergo subsequent divisions. Maternal demethylation occurs after paternal demethylation and by varying mechanisms. Removing epigenetic modifications during de novo demethylation actually damages the DNA when modified bases are cut out.

The mechanisms by which zygotic reprogramming occur are poorly understood, but a recent article in the journal Cell sheds some light on how DNA is repaired after removal of some modifications.[4] Although the triggers for demethylation of the paternal genome are not understood, it appears that an enzyme (Tet3), responsible for base modification, and other proteins involved in DNA repair are provided by the oocyte. The researchers show that reprogramming of paternal DNA occurs at different times and through shared and unique pathways in comparison to reprogramming maternal DNA. Numerous factors, including two different repair pathways (involving base excision repair machinery and cohesin), provide critical functions necessary to restore and protect integrity of reprogrammed DNA. Remarkably, checkpoints exist within the cellular milieu that prevent zygotes from undergoing cell division if the DNA is not properly repaired during reprogramming.

Another recent review article in Reproduction [5] highlights roles for additional oocyte factors in paternal DNA reprogramming. The extreme compaction of the transcriptionally silent (quiescent) paternal genome in the sperm involves strong binding to protamines and formation of disulphide bridges within the paternal DNA. This helps sperm motility and provides protection for the paternal genome. But the paternal genome must undergo biochemical remodeling and decondensation through replacement of protamines with new histones once fertilization takes place. The oocyte provides the endogenous resources needed to accomplish these tasks too. Sperm also carry and deliver small regulatory RNAs essential for early (pre-implantation) embryogenesis.

Fearfully and Wonderfully Complex

As I read through these articles, I began to marvel at how complex early stages of human development are. I wonder if we will discover that the human being is more finely tuned for life at a molecular level than the universe and earth are for supporting life. I couldn’t help but think of the Scripture where Jeremiah refers to being knit together in his mother’s womb as I read about the DNA repair mechanisms replacing excised bases with unmodified bases coupled with checkpoints. The checkpoints ensure that persistent DNA lesions (where bases have been cut out) aren’t like dropped stitches, ultimately ruining the final masterpiece. Scientists are just beginning to understand some factors in an amazingly complex and extensive reprogramming of paternal genomes to produce a zygote ready to grow and develop. Demethylation of the maternal genome occurs later but is just as critical for embryogenesis. It too uses de novo and passive mechanisms to reprogram epigenetic changes.

How long will it take us to unravel the mysteries of human development, and when will we cross the threshold to the revelation that we are indeed fearfully and wonderfully made! Some of us have been hurled over the threshold already. Others will follow. But will we ever be able to clone a human being? Certainly not before we master the intricacies and complexities of zygotic reprogramming.

Making a mini-me?

Even if we were able to take my adult DNA and reprogram it back to a developmentally naive state that would allow successful transition through embryogenesis again, all—or the vast majority—of controlling and contributing epigenetic factors would be different. If a human life were to come from such an endeavor, she too would be fearfully and wonderfully made, having been knit together in her mother’s womb. But she would be more unlike me than I would have been from an identical twin had my mother birthed twins.

We are each fearfully and wonderfully made and uniquely different. Each made in the image of God. Each God-breathed, living and moving and being in the One who creates and sustains all things. Everywhere we look—to the stars overhead or the overwhelming complexity of a single cell or into orchestrated flurries of cellular activities of embryogenesis—since the beginning of creation and now in the modern molecular biological era, it is evident from all that we see that God exists, is all powerful, so wise, truly good, utterly magnificent, and worthy of praise. And our souls know it full well.

What Is Not Condemned In The Universe Of The Mind

By Will Myers

When God created the universe and all therein, He formed things that follow the God Equation: UspaceVspace=Q which states God’s creation reflected His perfect righteousness giving the perfect order to all things (Uspace); the Vspace being the nexuses of all things. The Q represents the way things are made; the laws behind what is created. God’s perfect righteousness began at creation and extends into the heavens for God is perfect righteousness.

“So this is what the Sovereign Lord says: “See, I lay a stone in Zion (in the essence of things), a tested stone, a precious cornerstone (Uspace) for a sure foundation (UspaceVspace=Q); the one who relies on it will never be stricken with panic.” You shall not crash; you shall not fall.

Romans 1:20;

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made (UspaceVspace=Q), so that people are without excuse.” It appears that Paul the Apostle was being inspired through God’s perfect righteousness (Uspace).

Galations 5:22-23

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

We have been made aware that God’s perfect righteousness prevails through all things that exist in Isaiah 28:16. We are then made aware of some things in Galations 5:22-23 what God’s perfect righteousness confirm and not condemn ever. If the devil condemns any of the fruits of the Spirit it will last only for a period until the Lord destroys the works of the devil. For the Lord has overcome the world with Him being the perfect righteousness of his Father God.
