All through the New Testament reports of Jesus performing metaphysical phenomenons such as turning water into wine, and it was the best of wine brothers! Jesus commanded the winds to cease and be peaceful. Jesus’s most miraculous act was to command life to return into ones who had died. The scriptures refer to the energies of Jesus as light which was the spirit of life. From this many people sensed the truth; meaning that they suddenly knew what their purpose was, and it had been fulfilled. They were caught up in the moment of feeling that they had learned what every thing was about. The sense of displacement from the truth had vanished.
By the preponderance of the scriptures all persons who are aware of this non-displaced state of mind, the sensing of the Life Light, can perform the same metaphysical feats as Jesus. If we consider the need for inertia in order to move another object, than similarly likewise if the mind has enough initial (strong faith) to remain in the Life Light of Jesus one can also perform metaphysical feats as did Jesus. As a matter of fact, Jesus explicitly authorized us to do so.

And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
- Acts 8:13
Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
- Acts 15:12
Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.
- Acts 19:11
And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul:
- 1 Corinthians 12:10
To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:
Christianity was not meant to be a religion, but a personal relationship with God, our Creator. The purpose of God’s grace of sending a Savior to pay our sin debt was to return us unto the Kingdom God in that we commune directly with God always. From this personal relationship one is supposed to have all the powers that the Son of God had. Each can work miracles in the name of Jesus.
God’s Holy Spirit is that Life Light Who has endless powers.
