It happened to me that way too, AFTER someone told me about it. To this day I still wonder if that guy was a pimp for the program and if anyone this particular person is involved with, especially romantically, ends up targeted if it doesn’t work out or the relationship ends badly. This started for me back in late 2017/beginning of 2018. I am a child activist that was exposing an elite child trafficking ring. I am being attacked with DEW 24/7. We all need to band together. Possibly have a zoom meeting. If we all band together, perhaps we can do something about this as a whole verses individually. It’s just a term. “Targeted Individuals” could be called something else. And to define what it means is difficult. What it is in reality is sometimes a lifetime pattern of being excluded, harassed, receiving death threats, having neighbors move next door who blast you out of your place with noise. Some of these things may happen to “regular” people rarely. Not as an ongoing pattern.
Look up, if you want to the Stasi techniques of Communist East Germany. The Stasi was the secret police and they attempted to drive people crazy or to suicide. Smear campaigns are one of the most effective actions to destroy someone’s life. They used these too. They targeted anyone who criticized the government or people who were nonconformist.
Not everyone who claims to be targeted actually is. Some of them may truly believe they are but there is only a very small number of people who are genuinely “targeted individuals”. There are those who infiltrate groups of targeted individuals in order to create chaos. I think the majority of targeted individuals end up like me. They won’t get involved in groups, end up alone because the price they pay for any kind of involvement is just too high. It often means more trouble for the reason I have noted.
